CareNote gives you full control over who sees your notes. Keep sensitive information completely private, or selectively share with specific colleagues.

Creating a private note

Create a Note or Interaction

From a person's profile, click “Add Note” or “Log Interaction”

Set privacy to “Just Me”

Select “Just Me” from the privacy options

Write your note

Enter the content—this is now visible only to you

Note appears in timeline (for you only)

The note shows in the person's care timeline, but other team members can't see it

Privacy level options

🔒 Just Me

Only you can see this note. No one else—not even admins—has access.

👔 Admin/Managers

Only users with Administrator or Manager roles can see this note.

👥 Everyone

All team members who have access to this profile can view the note.

🏷️ Specific Groups

Only members of selected groups can view this note.

Sharing private notes

Even if a note is marked “Just Me,” you can add specific users who should also see it. This lets you share sensitive information with just the people who need to know.
