Track Follow-Ups

Never forget a follow-up with tasks, reminders, and automatic due date tracking.

“Track pastoral care, never missed a follow-up”

— What churches tell us they need

How it works in CareNote

CareNote offers two ways to track follow-ups: Tasks for standalone to-dos, and Interaction follow-ups for when you want to check back after a visit or call.

Option 1: Using Tasks

1

Go to Dashboard → Tasks → Create

Create a new task for your follow-up

2

Set the due date

Choose when you need to follow up

3

Link to a person or care request

Connect the task to the relevant profile or care request

4

See it on your Dashboard

Tasks due today and overdue tasks appear on your Dashboard automatically

Option 2: Interaction Follow-ups

1

When logging an interaction, check “Requires Follow-up”

This flags the interaction as needing follow-up

2

Set the follow-up date

Choose when you want to be reminded

3

Optionally assign to someone else

You can delegate the follow-up to another team member

4

CareNote tracks until complete

The follow-up shows as due/overdue until you mark it complete

What you get

  • Tasks with due dates and person/request linking
  • Interaction-based follow-up tracking
  • Dashboard showing tasks due today and overdue
  • Daily Beacon email with follow-up reminders
  • Delegate follow-ups to other team members
