To extend Christ’s love through practical care, supporting our community in times of need through Meal Trains and Prayer Ministry, ensuring no one walks through difficult seasons alone.

Ministry Focus Areas
Meal Trains
Purpose: Provide meals for individuals and families facing illness, recovery, or hardship.
Key Steps
- • Appoint a Meal Train Coordinator to oversee scheduling and communication.
- • Use a simple online tool (e.g., TakeThemAMeal.com or MealTrain.com) to organize sign-ups.
- • Communicate needs clearly through small groups, the church newsletter, or Sunday announcements.
- • Encourage volunteers to include notes, prayers, or cards with meals.
Prayer Ministry
Purpose: Cover the church community in consistent prayer, responding to specific needs and lifting up requests with compassion and faith.
Key Steps
- • Set up a Prayer Request System — via online form, church email, or CareNote.
- • Organize Prayer Partners or Prayer Teams to respond weekly.
- • Provide brief training on confidentiality, spiritual sensitivity, and follow-up prayer.
- • Share answered prayers and testimonies (with permission) to encourage faith.
Implementation Plan
Step 1: Build Your Team

Step 2: Establish Care Request Intake Process

Step 3: Train and Equip Volunteers

Step 4: Communicate & Launch
