How Churches Use CareNote

A multi-campus church in the Netherlands, three months in

The church

A thirteen-campus church in the Netherlands of about 14,100 people, with Planning Center connected. Three months on CareNote.

What they set out to do

Run care across thirteen campuses in the church's own language, with volunteers claiming the work.

How it works now

They are three months in, so this is what they have set up so far. Needs are entered by staff, and a Planning Center form can open a request on its own through an automation. Their category list already includes one they named themselves, in Dutch, alongside the standard ones, because the people using it work in Dutch all day.

What is working best already is group routing. A need is emailed out to a group and the first volunteer free claims it with one click, which is how most of their assignments have been taken so far, with the rest going to a named person. The daily prayer digest is switched on, so the staff see the prayer list each morning without opening the app.

What it takes

Three paid seats, four volunteers who work from email, and three groups set up to receive work.

Is this your church?

If your church spans many campuses and works in a language other than English, CareNote runs in yours, and group routing means a need reaches whoever is nearest and free.
